About Lucy Byng Artist
From the delicate stroke of a brush to the vibrant fusion of mixed media, Lucy Byng has been creating art that speaks to the soul for as long as she can remember. Every piece is a journey—a story told through colour, texture and emotion. With a diverse range of mediums; acrylics, watercolours, resin and pastels, Lucy’s art reflects her deep connection to the world around her and the endless sources that inspire her.
Lucy’s work goes beyond traditional art
She handcrafts jewellery, creates intricate dollhouses, fuses and paints glass, blending craftsmanship with creativity. Her passion for the exotic and the curious has led her to travel the world, with particular inspiration drawn from the rich cultures of the Far East and India. These travels fuel her art, filling each piece with a sense of wonder and discovery.
Many of her paintings are inspired by the Colour Mirrors system of coloured oils in bottles
Over 30 Years
Lucy has sold her art across the globe from London to New York, captivating audiences with her unique perspective. Each exhibition offers a glimpse into her evolving artistic world, where every stroke, hue and form is imbued with meaning.
Lucy Byng: Author
This book is written in collaboration with Melissie Joly and Korani Connolly of Colour Mirrors.
This system of healing and transformation holds the key to understanding yourself deeply and profoundly, inside and out.
In February 2020, whilst much of the world was in lockdown this book was inspired by Melissie and Korani who then contacted Lucy Byng, a fellow Colour MIrrors practitioner and artist, who was asked to produce the 38 paintings for this project.
For Lucy this was a perfectly timed commission to enlighten her life during lockdown. "It was a joy to create, an absolutely magical experience".
